Obituary for Lillian Irene Frazier (Johnston)

Lillian Irene Frazier (Johnston)
Lillian Irene Frazier, resident of Clinton Township, died peacefully May 24, 2018. She was 92 years of age.

Lillian was born on February 23, 1926 in Flint, Michigan, daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Amstead) Johnston. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Charles Frazier, on May 3, 1948 in Flint. The couple was blessed with eight beautiful daughters of whom they loved and cherished. Lillian dedicated her life to her family and was the epitome of a great mother and devoted wife. Her family always came first and she made sure her children were raised with Christian values in a loving home. Lillian had a kindred spirit and a heart of gold. She enjoyed helping others and loved the Lord. Lillian put her passion to work, by becoming an ordained minister, spreading the gospel at Lakeside Baptist Church. Lillian was an avid reader who enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She understood the value of friendship and the compassion and love that she extended to others was a blessing. Although we grieve her passing, we are eternally grateful for our beautiful matriarch who taught us to be more caring, compassionate and loving. Her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Lillian is the devoted wife of the late Charles; dearest mother of Linda (James) McGaffey, Faye (Peter) D'Luge, Edna (Dante)Barsotti, Mary (Thomas) Griffith,Lori Teipel and the late Cheryl Jessie, Marcia Toth and Norma Socia; dear mother-in-law of Steven Toth; cherished grandmother to many beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; beloved sister of Robert Johnston and the late Myrtle Smith; amd dear sister-in-law of Beulah Johnston and Donald Smith.

Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 2pm - 8pm and Friday from 10am - 11am. A funeral will be held at Funeral Home on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 11am with Rev. Donald Smith Jr. from Calvary Community Church of Flint and Rev. Doctor Ken Render from Lakeside Community Church of St. Clair Shores. Memorial contributions may be addressed to the donor's choice in Lillian's memory. Share memories at www.faulmannwalsh.com
