Leonard was born in Detroit on May 29, 1940, the son of the late Stanley and Stella (Donikowski) Durda. He served his country honorably in the U.S.Army. Leonard was married to his loving wife, Patricia Wojewoda, in Detroit on October 10, 1964 and first made their home in Hamtramck before moving to Roseville 34 years ago. Leonard had worked for over 31 years for General Motors, Cadillac Division before his retirement. He was a member of the Local 22 U.A.W. and enjoyed the unions hall meetings. Leonard enjoyed fishing and doing puzzles. He was an avid Detroit sports fan, rooting for all the teams. Leonard was a loving family man and dedicated his life to his family.
