Obituary for Imojean Anderson (Imojean Barton)

Imojean Anderson, a resident of Clinton Twp., was called to be with her husband Robert and son Robert in Heaven on January 25, 2018 at the age of 83 years.

Imojean was born on January 13, 1935 in Virginia, a daughter of the late Orvil and Vanda (Deal) Barton. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband Robert Anderson in Virginia where they made their first home, moving to Detroit and then Madison Hts. Following the death of her husband she moved to Clinton Twp. in 1996. She dedicated her life to her family whom she always put first. She loved bingo and her trips to the casinos. Imojean a beautiful Christian with a heart of gold and was a very giving person who always cared for others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Imojean is survived by her loving children, Chris L. Anderson and Marsha (Tibor) McLaughlin; her loving grandchildren, Chris, Bobby, Daniel, Jena, Dennis, Cody, Brittany,and Nichole, her great grand babies, Chanel and Colton and one on the way Savana.
She is also survived by her brothers, Leon, Edward, Glen, and sisters Pauline, Phyllis, Theda and Jan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, son, Robert and by her brother, Bill.

Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Monday from 2pm till 8pm and Tuesday from 10am till time of service at 11am with her brother Pastor Leon Barton officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions to in her memory may be addressed to the family. Share memories with the family at www.faulmannwalsh.com
