Cheryl Ann Glenn, resident of Clinton Township, died peacefully December 5, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 70 years of age. She fought a courageous battle with such strength and perseverance and now has won victory with her Lord and Savior.
Cheryl was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 2, 1947, a delightful daughter of John and Lauretta (Horn) Steen. She was united in marriage to her faithful and loving husband, Robert Glenn, on February 6, 1965 in Madison Heights. The couple made their home in Warren and their union was blessed with four beautiful children of whom she loved and cherished. Cheryl dedicated her life to her family and was the epitome of a great mother and devoted wife. Cheryl had a kindred spirit and a heart of gold. She was not only an inspiration but a role model to her daughters and son, grandchildren and to the many she has touched in her lifetime. Her labors of love also shined through by always being there for her family and the willingness to do anything for them. When she had some free time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking cookies and her delicious apple pies. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and she lived for each and every moment she got to share in their company. Cheryl was a devoted and caring woman, with great values, who lived her life with a purpose. She touched an innumerable number of hearts and lives, and the compassion and friendship that she extended to others was a blessing to all who knew her. Though we grieve her passing, we know that she has left us for a better life free from all pain and care. We are all eternally thankful for our Cheryl Ann Glenn who taught us to be more loving and genuine people by the life she led. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those that she has left behind.
