WAS IT YESTERDAY? 

 

*   There they stood in the living room, with sparkling smiles/eyes and a warm, caring radiant glow about them.

 

*   There Louise and John stood. She in her neat, pretty dress and he in his sharp, impressive military uniform.

 

*   There they went, out on a date. It was shortly after WW II and before they were married.

 

*   There I was, with her parents and Lenny my youngest brother, in the living room at the "Homestead" (30 Meyers St. Edwardsville, Pa). and saw it happen.

 

 

WAS IT TODAY?

 

*   To me, their above yesterday was the beginning that never ended.

 

*   Their warm, caring radiant glow even grew brighter with the happiness and joy they shared in a marvellous marriage and the care they provided to so many people over the years.

 

*   And, their glow never dimmed or went out--even with all the trials and tribulations of life--and it still shines among the stars above.

 

*   So, if you look closely skyward at anytime, you may see "Lu and John" in their living room.  I did, they were dancing a Polish polka.
